Embodied Listening

I begin with guided somatic inquiry, helping you greet your body as it is and notice what’s present. Through this process, you’ll practice embodied listening - turning inward to notice your body’s sensations with curiosity and compassion.

This practice supports regulation by helping you attune to your nervous system. Over time, embodied listening teaches us how to regulate our emotions and energy by recognising and responding to our body’s needs.

Each month, we focus on a different theme, guiding you to attune to your body’s wisdom.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is an evidence based yogic meditation which gently guides you into a state where the body sleeps but the inner awareness stays awake.

Yoga Nidra modulates your brain waves to guide you into the theta state, a deeply relaxed and restorative brainwave frequency.

This state is associated with heightened intuition, deep healing, and profound inner calm. In theta, the mind becomes more receptive, allowing for greater access to the subconscious, facilitating emotional release, and fostering creativity. .

Yoga Nidra supports emotional processing, nervous system regulation, and deep rest - allowing inner clarity to emerge, simply through the act of listening.

Reiki Energy Healing

Reiki energy healing is sent distantly to the group and gently woven throughout the session as you are guided into deep rest. While you relax, the Reiki energy flows, supporting your body and mind to release tension, restore balance, and promote healing on an energetic level.

Reiki supports your system in shifting from sympathetic activation into the parasympathetic state - your natural “rest and digest” mode where the body repairs, restores and rebalances.

As the energy flows, emotional and energetic blockages can gently clear, helping you to feel lighter and more grounded and more connected to your inner rhythm.

During this one hour of embodied listening and meditation I will guide you to listen to your body and into restorative rest. My intention is always for you to connect with your self energy and your soulful self.

What you’ll need:

  • A quiet, comfortable place to lay down or sit.

  • Extra pillows and blankets

  • An eye pillow or covering to encourage sensory deprivation for deep rest

Notes to add:

  • No prior experience required. There’s nothing to “do” and nothing to get right - this is simply an invitation to be guided into deep rest and to receive.

  • During the session, you may notice physical sensations, emotional shifts, deep relaxation, or you may simply feel calm. All experiences are welcome. You’re always in choice and can adjust your position or pause the practice at any time.
